Causecast, dubbed “a one stop philanthropy shop” by TechCrunch, is a platform where media, philanthropy, social networking, entertainment and education converge to serve a greater purpose.
People want to do good, want to be inspired, and want to inspire others to join them in giving back. Causecast makes this easy by providing users with means to CONNECT with people, leaders, charities, nonprofit organizations, and brands that inspire them.
Check them out: Causecast.

I remember my cousin Ryan Stoner was working on the development of this site about a year ago. I’ll check in with him to see if his company ended up developing it, and what his thoughts are on how things are going.

From Ryan:
Causecast is doing well. They are doing about 30,000 uniques a month and they have managed to get some big celebrities involved as well. They
launched with Jenny McCarthy and her Autism foundation and now have about 15 or so other big celebrities and the non profits they support.
