Austin Social Innovation Lab:
Goal: To create social impact through social innovation.
The Austin Social Innovation Hub is an incubating platform for individuals and enterprises creating innovative solutions to social problems.
The primary focus areas of the hub are:
- Incubation: to launch and accelerate innovative social enterprises
- Networking: to facilitate collaboration between social innovators and social enterprises in Austin
- Education: to educate individuals and enterprises on how to create social impact
- Research: to research and advocate for social innovation in Austin and beyond
Specifically, we will create a physical hub for social innovation that serves as a coworking and incubation space, as well as online portal that enhances collaboration among Austin’s key stakeholders and concentrates resources on promising social innovators and enterprises.
